The big word out there is sexy. It tends to be too one-sided. Even five-year-old girls use it when shopping with mum for an outfit (Aw, Mum! That's so not sexy on me!) The pressure is almost always on the women. Chests displaying airbags while the rest of the body is all preying mantis. Men go bold and their paunches are just plain old “cuddly bear”. Is this how (and why) the wealthy world are increasingly falling on children like demolished buildings, at home or out in Thailand or the Philippines? Funny – people with more food than they need starve themselves (bulimia, anorexia) and would rather destroy their surplus food than send this to the starving poor.
